The governing board of Barani Institute of Sciences (BIS) has approved the under mentioned scholarship schemes for Fall-205-26. The scholarship scheme has been classified into two categories.

Category A:

This category includes the scholarships at the time of admission.

1. Barani Scholar Excellence Award (B-SEA).

2. Merit based Scholarship (MBS).

3. Kinship Scheme.

4. Barani Foundation Education Insurance (BFEI).

Category B:

This category includes scholarships available during studies.

5. Need Based Financial Assistance (NBFA).

6. Qarz-e-Hasna Scheme (Mian Altaf Welfare Trust).

7. Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF).

8. Punjab Benevolent Fund (Education Scholarship Grant).

9. FEB&GIF – Educational Stipend (Federal Employees Benevolent and Group Insurance Fund)

10. Worker Welfare Fund (WWF) Monastery of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.

11. Fauji Foundation Educational Stipend.

12. MORA Scholarship.

13. Excellence Award (Dr. Sadiq Foundation).

Note:

The policy rules apply for Fall-205-26 admissions only and supersede all previous rules on the subject.

Barani Scholarship Excellence Award:

The eligible students may apply for B-EA through a prescribed form available with the scholarship assistance officer at the time of admission.

1. B- Excellence Award

Waiver of Fee:

• Scholar will pay Full Fee at the time of admission application, which shall be refunded to the student after approval of admission application.

Policy Continuation:

• For continuation of the policy student shall maintain 3.75/4.0 or higher CGPA.

• In case of discipline or any other violation of the university/Institute rules and regulation, the award of scholarship shall be standing cancel.

Continuation of Scholarship:

• The award of Merit Scholarship is for the whole degree program.

• In case of discipline or any other violation of the university/Institute rules and regulations, the award of scholarship shall be stand cancel.

3. Kinship Scheme:

The scheme will cover the siblings who are concurrently students of BIS.

• The award of kinship scholarship is for the whole degree program.

• In case of one sibling completes his/her degree, the scholarship will continue for the other sibling(s).

• In case of discipline or any other violation of the university/Institute rules and regulations, the award of scholarship shall be standing cancel.

4. Barani Foundation Education Insurance (BFEI):

Every student who is registered with the BIS is covered under (BFEI) during his/her studies.

Guardian Death During Study	100% Full Tuition Fee waived off for the Remaining Semesters
Orphan Admission	20% Tuition fee waived off
Govt. Employee (Current or Retired) Admission or Employees’ ward	10% Top Up in MBS

• The award of scholarship is for the whole degree program.

• In case of discipline or any other violation of the university/Institute rules and regulations, the award of scholarship shall be standing cancel.
