Ms. Sehrish Tahir brings a strong academic foundation and professional expertise in public health and Nutrition to her role as a lecturer & mentor, currently serving in the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Barani Institute. She is dedicated to delivering quality education in Nutrition and Public Health, fostering student growth through interactive, research-driven teaching methods. With a foundation built on both academic excellence and practical experience, she has emerged as a strong contributor to undergraduate teaching and institutional leadership in health sciences.
Ms. Sehrish began her academic journey with a BS (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), Lahore. During her time at UVAS, she held student leadership roles such as Assistant Resident Tutor and Mess Head. She pursued her MPhil in Public Health from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and further enriched her experience through clinical training at The Children’s Hospital and Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore.
She served as a Lecturer and Management Head at the ACE Institute of Medical Sciences, an institute affiliated with Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF). In this role, she not only taught key nutrition and public health subjects but also led departmental operations, faculty coordination, and student affairs. Currently, she is a Lecturer at Barani Institute, continuing her commitment to student-centered education. She has also contributed to national-level health research as a Research Associate with projects funded by TRF and TRF+.
